I know the holidays are over, but I just saw "The Holiday" movie last night, and so I wanted to put up a post about it. I'm not going to say much about it, except to quote something Kate Winslet's character said in the movie. And here it is:
"I understand feeling as small and as insignificant as humanly possible. And how it can actually ache in places you didn't know you had inside you. And it doesn't matter how many new haircuts you get, or gyms you join, or how many glasses of Chardonnay you drink with your girlfriends... you still go to bed every night going over every detail and wonder what you did wrong or how you could have misunderstood. and how in the hell for that brief moment you could think that you were that happy. And sometimes you can even convince yourself that he'll see the light and show up at your door. And after all that, however long all that may be, you'll go somewhere new. And you'll meet people who make you feel worthwhile again. And little peices of your soul will finally come back. And all that fuzzy stuff, those years of your life that you wasted, that will eventually begin to fade."

- congrats on finding the perfect suite. i never get to find a perfect one, unless it's tailor made for me. bummer! =P
- congrats on cleaning your room! hahaha! i always put off throwing junk, coz i always end up keeping everything pa rin, for senti reasons. =P
- i wish i can chat more often... bawal kasi sa office, tapos sa bahay, dami kong inaasikaso before i get to log in. *excuses excuses!*
- and... i've always wanted to perform impromptu, something like that open mic thing sa band. pero hindi singing, i would want dancing. that's why i love my bestfriend's family parties, coz his uncles (almost always) pull me to the dance floor for an impromptu swing dance. hehehe!
