Got this from Jomz Olano (CYA UST):
Faith is not just given to us by God so he would be able to test us. I believe that faith is given for us that we may rest in God.
When we ride a bus, do we ussually know the driver personally enough to trust him? Not in a million rides. But why do we still ride his vehicle. We trust he will bring us to where we need. That is not reason.
When we visit a local fastfood chain (for example, Jollibee or McDo) and before we order, do we ask the attendant, "Who is your cook? Where did he train?" Does he cleans his hands?" No but we eat food laid before us.
Now this is the moment, while reading this (or browsing some website), where are you? In a building? In your house? In an Internet Cafe? Do you know who built that structure? Are you assured it won't collapse? No? But why are you contended reading, and so relaxed? Because faith is not the reason.
If you cannot explain what is happening in your life right now, trust the God who knows you personally. Trust God who drives your life, who prepares your meals and builds your future. Have faith in the one who constantly has His eyes set on you. He will never leave you nor forsake you....
Rest in God.

hey venus, thanks for posting that message. i needed it.
Reminds me of the homily of Fr. Jett at Joel and Eena's wedding last December 29th. One of the things he spoke about was that life is a journey and God is the driver.
May our faith in our Father grow as the days pass.
Hey Malou, I'm glad Jomz emailed it too. It seems like a lot benefitted from this email.
K. Junby - yeah ... I agree with the prayer. And thanks for the message you posted abt. your sharing sa Breakfast. It's really nice. It's so true that my identity is as His daughter and nothing else. :-) BTW, has May contacted you yet? Curious lang! Tnx
